Greetings!
October was a busy month for GTSF! With the help of 258 volunteers, we hosted three distributions and outfitted more than 1,200 kiddos with new shoes and socks. But, our volunteers didn't stop there... An additional 32 gracious men and women choose to spend their Saturday with us volunteering at the Downtown Brew Festival. In only five hours, our awesome volunteers scanned in nearly 4,000 attendees at this high-energy SOLD OUT event.
We wrapped up the month with a Halloween soiree at Topgolf Las Vegas with Charley & Stacy Hoffman, the Charley Hoffman Foundation and a dozen PGA TOUR pros in town for Charley's Pro-Am as well as the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open! (Did you know Topgolf goes through 850,000 golf balls a day??) Anyway, thank you to everyone who put their best foot forward to birdie, bogey and eagle on behalf of GTSF! You're all definitely aces with us!!
During the month of November, Raising Cane's continues their GTSF $1 dollar drive fundraising efforts, so stop in to any one of their 11 Las Vegas locations, grab a delicious bite and make a difference. On Wednesday, November 2nd (5pm to 7pm) drop by the Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers on St. Rose Parkway and hang with the GTSF crew or get your picture taken with the giant Las Vegas Bowl 25th Anniversary rhinestone football! The Las Vegas Bowl BSC game will kick off right here in Vegas on Saturday, December 17th at Sam Boyd Stadium!
At the end the month, #HakkasanGivesBack wraps up their internal, fall fundraising activation which will culminate in a December shoe distribution event for 400 of our community's most needy kids, manned by their awesome employee volunteers and donors! We LOVE our incredibly giving community partners!

Caniac Call for $1 Donations
From October 31st through November 13th, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers will be collecting $1 donations at the register to provide hundreds of children with new shoes and socks through GTSF! All 11 Las Vegas locations are participating to help a child have a happy holiday. Drop in and make a difference! @vegascaniac

Volunteer of the Month
MELISSA M
Melissa works in the Zappos photo studio and first joined us at a Zappos.com sponsored shoe distribution event. After just one distribution, she was hooked, and now she attends as many distributions as she can independently and with her fellow Zapponians.
We love Melissa's enthusiasm for sizing kids' feet at GTSF station #1, as well as her dedication, friendliness and consummate smile. Melissa is on a personal mission to volunteer at 10 distributions in 12 months and earn her gold shirt, and we have no doubt she will reach her goal very soon! Thanks for your continued help, Melissa!

Paint, Motivate & Donate!
GTSF friend and talented artist, Angelique Daniels is hosting a painting party like none you may have been to before, and 10% of ticket sales will benefit GTSF! No experience or supplies are required.
Join "Shoe Chick" Angelique on November 12th for painting, wine, light refreshments, and tons of fun as you re-create a new masterpiece for your wall.
