Greetings!
The school year is well underway, which means that the GTSF shoe distribution season is in full swing! In the past 4 weeks, we have hosted three distributions with volunteers donating a total of nearly 870 volunteer hours in order to outfit 1,674 smiling kiddos with new shoes and socks.
In September, retail clothier Vince. hosted a fundraiser on behalf of GTSF and the Hakkasan Group kicked off their #HakkasanGivesBack fall activation benefiting GTSF.
In October, GTSF will really get moving with three additionally scheduled distributions, our volunteers helping out at the Downtown Brew Festival, the Charley Hoffman Foundation Pro-Am and TopGolf events, and more! With so much happening and so many opportunities to lend support or volunteer, we hope to see everyone soon!

Goodie Two Shoes Tees Off
The 2016 Charley Hoffman Foundation Pro-Am is your chance to cross golfing with a PGA pro off your bucket list, while having a "hole" lot of fun! Proceeds from the October 31st tournament benefit GTSF and four other local Las Vegas charitable organizations.

Brewing Up Support for GTSF!
The Downtown Brew Festival is back with over 200 craft beers, plenty of delicious food, and live music from Trevor Green and the Naked Elephant. Be sure to stop by on your way in to say hi to the two dozen GTSF volunteers helping out at the entrance!

If you were at our annual Heart n' Sole party last year, then you'll remember listening to an awesome DJ spinning a hot mix during the VIP Reception. Well, that DJ is our October Volunteer of the Month, Freddy B!
Freddy B's first introduction to GTSF was at Heart n' Sole 2016 and ever since, he's stepped up by volunteering at our distributions! We love his enthusiasm and the connection he makes with each of the kiddos -- it definitely puts a smile on their faces. Thanks for all you do, Freddy B!

Volunteering with GTSF
Is Easy AND Fun
Each school year, September to May, GTSF strives to reach more than 10,000 school-age (K through 12th grade) children in need via 25 large-scale, highly-coordinated, on-campus shoe distribution events. That means we need LOTS of volunteers!
If you can give just four hours on a Friday morning, then you can make a difference to hundreds of children at a local Title 1, Tier 1 school. Join our volunteer call email list by clicking HERE!
