Greetings!


As we embark on another school year with the renewed goal of serving yet another 10,000 of our community's most needy children, we ask you contemplate how YOU, personally, might make a difference this school year! 


Over the next week, each morning when you choose the shoes that go with your outfit or attire, please think about the many kiddos in our community who don't have a single pair of shoes to call their own. Think about the little brother that is staying home from school today because his sister wore the only pair of kids shoes in the house. Think about the little girl sitting in class today focusing more on the holes in her shoes and the sand on her feet from the walk to school than the teacher's story book lesson. Think about the sisters that have never ever had a new pair of shoes on the first day, or ever. Think about the young man sitting out recess and PE because he can't play in the only shoes he's got, flipflops... 


As you go about your day-to-day activities, please remember that by giving just four hours of your time to a GTSF shoe distribution event, by making a donation, or by purchasing a ticket or table at our annual fundraising party, you can making a difference right here in Southern Nevada. Everyone can make a little time to share or a few dollars to spare! Please consider putting your best foot forward at least once this school year to make a difference... The life you impact most may very well be your own!

Goodie Two Shoes Round Up
