Congratulations to our volunteer of the month, Roy M.! Roy began volunteering with GTSF in 2013, and has quickly become one of our key volunteers! Roy earned is Gold Volunteer shirt just last week, meaning he's volunteered at over 10 distribution events since August - that's over 38 hours of volunteer time!

As we ring in the New Year, we're celebrating YOU!
Thanks to GTSF supporters like you, we were able to surpass our year-end individual giving goal of raising more than $10,000!

Amazing community supporters putting their best foot forward on behalf of GTSF!
The AMAZING folks at the Silverton Hotel and Casino once again chose GTSF as their charity of choice for the month of December! They encouraged customers and employees alike to support GTSF by hosting a casino-floor sneaker print drive, an employee pancake breakfast, and a delicious dessert purchase promo all benefitting Goodie Two Shoes! Their generosity will assist GTSF in outfitting more than 400 children in need at one of our spring 2015 shoe distribution events! Please drop in to the Silverton and thank them for making a difference!
HUGE thanks to the students of the UNLV Hospitality Capstone course, 470 Events, for choosing GTSF as their project's beneficiary! The event, A Step in the Right Direction was attended by several hundred people and raised over $11,000 for GTSF in just one night!! Outstanding job 470 Events and congratulations to the student graduates!!  GTSF was honored to receive a $5000 grant from Speedway Children's Charities this December! Thank you for your continued support of GTSF programming SCC! 
A special thank you to Channel 8 for choosing GTSF as the beneficiary of their 8 Days of Christmas campaign! Employees and visitors contributed donations via our sneaker print drive, raising over $300 for GTSF! Thank you Channel 8!

Join the GTSF crew for the Big Game 10k on February 1st! This downtown fun run features 10k, 5k and Touchdown Tot Trot options - fun for the whole family! PLUS, GTSF will receive a $5 donation for each registrant who chooses to support us - just pick "Goodie Two Shoes" on the registration form!

holiday happiness with Raising Cane's and the Las Vegas Bowl!
|
 Our friends at Raising Cane's came out in full force to support local kids in need throughout the month of December. Through their annual Dollar Drive, Cane's locations throughout the Valley raised over $19,000 in support of our holiday distribution event at CP Squires Elementary School, which provided either new shoes or a new toy to each student - thank you Raising Cane's!!
Our friends at the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl created a once-in-a-lifetime holiday experience for over 850 kiddos at our last 2014 event by bringing collegiate football players and cheerleaders from Colorado State and the University of Utah, in town for the BSC Bowl Game, to volunteer with us at our December 18th event! The excitement was palpable and the fun, laughter and smiles were contagious! In addition to the enthusiastic meet-n-greet, the kiddos also received mini-footballs and posters signed by the players, plus Royal Purple beanies and socks!
