50,000th GTSF Participant Outfitted!!

The Goodie Two Shoes Foundation began in 2003 when family and friends came together to outfit 225 disadvantaged kids with new shoes. Now, 11 years later, we we have reached another milestone -
our 50,000th GTSF participant! A very special thanks to all of the sponsors, advocates and volunteers whom have been on this special journey with us - we are looking forward to the next 50,000!!

We are less than two weeks away from the BEST walk in Vegas! Put your best foot forward and rally your friends, family and co-workers in support of the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation's 5th Annual Rockin' Walk! Get out, get active, and help provide thousands of disadvantaged children with new shoes, socks and more.
Remember, being a Team Captain is easy -- a team is any group of 5 or more registered walkers!!

The Goodie Two Shoes Foundation wouldn't be what it is today without the help of our dedicated and passionate volunteers - over 1100 of you lent your support to GTSF last year alone!
SO, we're launching a new Volunteer Appreciation Program to recognize our hard-working volunteers!
We've launched a new Gold volunteer commitment level (in addition to our "Red shirt" volunteers), hosted our first appreciation party to recognize our repeat key volunteers, and there are many more surprises and acknowledgements to come! Keep an eye out for our Red and Gold volunteers the next time you're at a shoe distribution event!

Stop and shop! GTSF Key Volunteer, Tino A., is hosting a yard sale THIS Saturday, October 4th from 6am until 11am. All proceeds benefit the Goodie Two Shoes Foundation, so be sure to stop by!

the Foundation Room Mandalay Bay for such a fabulous fundraising night! Together, Fabulous Shoe Night and the Foundation Room raised over $1700 for GTSF! Thank you ladies!
Special thanks, too, to the amazing ladies of the Sun City Anthem Women's Club whom raised over $2100 at their Welcome Back ladies luncheon on September 11th.
And, BIG thanks to the Miracle Mile Shops for "facilitating change" by putting their best foot forwa  rd! During the month of September, all change tossed into the fountains at MMS benefitted GTSF! We are still counting but, in the meantime, thanks for helping make lots of wishes come true! |
