Joe Mikulich
Joe has interned with GTSF for the past four years through the Engelstad Scholars program at UNLV! He has volunteered at over 20 shoe distribution events and contributing over 400 volunteer hours as part of this program! Moreover, Joe has become a big part of our GTSF family, and a mentor to our other younger Engelstad Scholar interns. We will miss Joe after he graduates this December, and we wish him all the best in what is guaranteed to be a very bright future!

Greetings!
In 2003, one family decided to make a difference in our community by providing new shoes to children in need. Now, nearly 11 years, 43,000 kids and thousands of volunteers later, that idea has developed into a full-fledged family of do-gooders! From interns to volunteers, supporters to staff, the GTSF family continues to grow with each passing year, and we're so happy you're a part of it! The Goodie Two Shoes Foundation gives all year round! Please consider GTSF when considering your end-of-year or holiday charitable contributions. Happy Holidays from the GTSF Team! |
community support
We are so grateful for the support of our community partners, and this month is no exception! Please help us thank DBIA, Clearwater Paper, and Channel 8 Community Pride!
The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) held its' annual conference in Las Vegas this month, drawing professionals from across the country. Dozens of DBIA representatives participated in the 5k Fun Run/Walk to benefit GTSF, and event organizers collected donations for GTSF throughout the conference. In total, the DBIA conference collected over $3,000 to support GTSF! Our newest community supporter, Clearwater Paper, just can't get enough of GTSF! After Clearwater Paper employees rocked out at the Rockin' Walk, they brought some more folks by the office for a tour and presented GTSF with another very generous donation!
And finally, a big thank you to all of our friends at Channel 8 and their Community Pride program for presenting GTSF with a VERY generous $10,000 grant! This amazing contribution will fully support one shoe distribution in this Spring and outfit 400 children in need! |

HUGE thanks to all of our community partners, dedicated staff/interns, and hundreds of volunteers who put in thousands of hours to help make this idea a reality - we could not do this without YOU!
