Murer JD, CRA, was part of a 22-person international delegation representing the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland and Italy at the 2013 Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) Ninth Annual Rome Seminar held from Sunday, June 23 through Thursday, June 27, in Rome, Italy. The seminar provided a firsthand opportunity to explore the intellectual and spiritual foundations of the Church in particular related to higher education and healthcare initiatives. Ms. Murer, a member of the Board of Trustees for Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, and Dr. Stephany Schlachter, Provost of Lewis University, experienced the opportunity of engaging with individuals at the highest level of the Curia. |
