Letsa Kuphila Project ("Life Giving Project")

The SFA School of Social Work and Jarvis Christian College have teamed up to help provide the children at Zamani High School in Swaziland with the things they need to succeed in their schooling. The children in this area experience a variety of hardships: 80 percent are orphans, many are living with HIV/AIDS and have lost one or both parents due to AIDS, and many live in poverty and cannot afford to pay for the school fees. Many of the students have three basic needs: food, clothing and help with paying school fees.

If you would like to donate items you can contact either Linda Gonzales (Association of Graduate Students of Social Work president) at gonazlezlm1@titan.sfasu.edu or Emily Gay (Student Association of Social Work president) at emilyegray@gmail.com. If you would like to donate funds, donations can be made to AGSSW and delivered to the School of Social Work at 420 E. Starr Ave., Box 6104, SFA Station, Nacogdoches, TX 75962.
