The Re-Store is moving!
Habitat for Humanity's furniture store "The Re-Store" is now moving and needs your help to get there! Moving will begin Feb. 2 and end Feb. 18. Shifts that need coverage are from 8a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. -5 p.m.

Public Library needs your help!

The Judy B. McDonald Public Library needs volunteers for its African American History Celebration  Feb. 25. Volunteers can help move furniture and props during the performance and assist with traffic. The library also needs a student with knowledge of musical instruments to help with setting up the musical performance.

Volunteers needed for auction
Christ Episcopal School is hosting an auction at 6 p.m. Feb. 8 2014 and needs volunteers to serve the corporate sponsors for that evening. The event will be held at the Nacogdoches Expo Center.

Dog Park volunteers needed
The Nacogdoches Dog Park needs volunteers to help with Dog Park clean up. Each willing volunteer would be assigned to help keep the Dog Park clean just two weeks a year. Volunteers are only required to visit the park twice a week during the assigned weeks to help the park remain dog friendly!

Texas Civil Rights Project seeking volunteers
The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is looking for volunteers to help with the DACA clinics in East Texas. DACA is an organization that benefits students who came to the U.S. when they were children and currently are undocumented. The organization hopes to reach parts of Texas that may not receive many resources for immigration education and services. The Texas Civil Rights Project is looking for organizations that would be willing to team up with them to host events on the SFA campus.

Relay for Life  
It's time to make noise in the fight against cancer! Sign-ups for the 2014 Relay For Life are online and ready for action! This year's Relay for Life will be on March 21-22.
