CASA Superhero 5K Fun Run 
CASA of Deep East Texas is looking for volunteers for its annual 5K & Kids Fun Run at Pecan Park on Nov. 9. Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, activity or entertainment booths for kids, and course guidance.

Proceeds earned during this event will help out CASA, which speaks up for children in courthouse settings, children who have become victims of abuse and those who have been placed in foster care.

Pumpkin Sale

The Christ Episcopal School needs volunteers for their annual pumpkin patch sale! The event started on Oct. 11 and will run through Halloween and is open from 10 a.m. until dark. Volunteers are needed to help facilitate pumpkin sales and pictures. Students who would like to volunteer can contact Bill Richardson at (936) 553-8787.

It's time to make noise in the fight against cancer! Sign-ups for the 2014 Relay For Life are online and ready for action! This year's Relay for Life will be on March 24.

4th annual Thanksgiving Homebound  
Jacks Council on Family Relations is sponsoring the 4th annual Thanksgiving Homebound and is looking for donors to help feed low-income families from Head Start and Solid Foundation in the Nacogdoches community. Donors will be given a list of suggested non-perishables to buy for a family to help out with their Thanksgiving dinner.
