The BIG Event Committee Application

Stephen F. Austin State University's largest day of service, The BIG Event, is looking for committee members to help make this day possible. Committee members play a special behind-the-scenes role that helps prepare students and job sites for the big day. Committee members gain leadership skills through working with the community and students to give thanks back to the Nacogdoches community.

To become a part of The BIG Event committee, students must fill out an application, which is available here via Axes or in paper format in the BPSC Involvement Center. Applications must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 13.

Alternative Spring Break Applications

Alternative Spring Break is now accepting applications for our Spring 2014 trip! This program offers students an opportunity to get away for Spring Break all while providing service to the community they visit. In addition to service hours, students who participate in Alternative Spring Break gain leadership and teamwork skills that are invaluable. Students will have opportunities to fundraise for trip costs, and all students are welcome to apply, regardless of volunteer background. Previous groups have traveled to Hot Springs, Ark. Long Beach, Miss. and New Orleans, La.

To apply for Alternative Spring Break, please visit our Axes page here. Applications are due by Sept. 26 at 5 p.m.
