Landmark Place: Importance of Active Design & Supportive Services

To address the critical need for senior and supportive housing in Ulster County, Landmark Place proposes an integrated campus with two proposed home sites. The first creates 34 supportive housing apartments through adaptive reuse and historical preservation of the former Alms House built between 1872-74. The second building of new construction brings 32 one-bedroom apartments for seniors 55 and over. The City of Kingston last saw senior housing built in 2001. We believe Landmark Place is strategically located, and a ready choice to fulfill its call to community service. Come to the open house to see the latest site plans and renderings. Then come out to Kingston City Hall on Tuesday February 28 at 6pm to "Give Housing a Voice" at the public hearing.
