New for Bus Riders in 2016-2017 – Bus Safety Handbook & Bus Rider Contract 
Starting next school year all bus riders MUST have a parent or guardian signed ‘Bus Rider Contract’ submitted with the Bus Rider Registration form, indicating that they have received the Bus Safety Handbook and will agree to abide by the rules. Bus passes will not be issued until a signed contract has been submitted. The Bus Safety Handbook and Contract can be found on Carroll ISD's Transportation webpage.

Deadline Extended: Graduation Videoboard Messages
The deadline for Graduation Videoboard Messages at Dragon Stadium has been extended to Thursday. Those interested must pay in person at the Carroll ISD administration center, located at 2400 North Carroll Ave. The cost is $50. Message forms are also available at CISD. For more details, click here.

End-of-Year Banquet Wednesday at CSHS
This year's Carroll ISD End-of-Year banquet and celebration for staff will held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Carroll Senior High School Student Activity Center. The campus teachers of the year will be recognized and the secondary and K-6 teachers of the year will be announced

Student Medication Pick Up By June 2
Please be advised if your student has medication or health supplies in the school clinic, these items must be picked up before the last day of school. Staff will not send medication home with any student. All medications, prescriptions and over the counter will be destroyed at the end of the day June 2. No medication will be “held over” for the next school year.

Reminder: School Closed Friday and Monday
Carroll ISD schools and offices will be closed Friday, May 27. This is an unused bad weather day built into the school calendar. School will also be closed Monday, May 30 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

Football Spring Game Moved to Wednesday
The Carroll Dragon football spring game has been moved to Wednesday at Dragon Stadium. The JV game will be at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity at 7 p.m. The game was moved because of the potential for inclement weather.

Dragon Pride Highlights Athletic Scholarships for 2015-2016 
With the signing ceremony of 19 Dragon scholar-athletes this spring, the 2015-2016 senior class total signees grew to 49, as seen in this month’s issue of Dragon Pride by Southlake Style on page 62.

Save on 2016-2017 Bus Passes Before August 1
School bus passes for 2016-2017 are now available for purchase. Purchase by Aug. 1 to take advantage of the early payment incentives of $250 for an annual individual pass or $500 for annual family passes and $135 for a semester individual pass or $270 for semester family passes. After Aug. 1, a 10% cost increase is applied and passes will cost $275 and $550 for the annual and $148 and $296 for the semester, respectively. The district is encouraging parents to register early to assist the Transportation Department in more effectively planning bus stops and routes. Routes for the 2016-2017 school year will be available online Aug. 15. Parents may find more information and purchase 2016-17 bus passes online here. Dragon Football Season Tickets Still Available
Season tickets still remain for the 2016 varsity football season. The Dragons will host five games - Tulsa Union, Martin, Trinity, Byron Nelson and Hebron. Catch the games with your own coveted green seatback. Limited number of seats are still available. There are two options - a one-year Personal Seat License or three-year Personal Seat License for Southlake residents or Carroll ISD families. There is also a seat license option for non-residents. You can purchase up to four seats per family/per house. Tickets can be purchased at the administration center (located at 2400 N. Carroll) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Project Graduation Tickets on Sale
Project Graduation is a Drug and Alcohol free celebration for Graduating Seniors. Seniors will have the chance to spend one last night with their graduating class, enjoy fun times and have a chance to win prizes like TVs, laptops, Apple Watches, Xboxes, jewelry and much more. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on-line at https://www.ticketracker.com/store/events/1551. A price increase will occur on May 27, so get your tickets now.

Summer School Registration Information
Registration has started for Carroll ISD's Summer School sessions. Session I and II registration and tuition must be completed and paid by Friday, June 3. Click here for the registation form and more details.

Retirement Party Thursday for EIS Teacher Cindi Arnold
A retirement party for Eubanks Intermediate School teacher Cindi Arnold will be held Thursday, May 26 from 5-7 p.m. at the Wentwood Club House, located at 700 Wentwood Drive. Arnold's current and former students and parents are invited to attend. She is retiring after 33 years in teaching.

Carroll EQ Club Hosting Community Event
Move the Needle is a campaign launched by Applied Inner Sciences and Carroll EQ Club with a goal to help better our community by raising awareness of the critical role emotions play in students lives. The EQ Club is hosting a free educational seminar on Saturday, June 4 from 3-4 p.m. at the Southlake Chamber of Commerce. Come learn more about what we can do to help our children develop skills that will last a lifetime.

Relay for Life Northern Tarrant County to be Held July 23
The Relay for Life of Northern Tarrant County will be held July 23 from 6 p.m. to midnight at Texas Motor Speedway. The survivor dinner will be held inside the NASCAR garage. Click here for more information about the event.
