Carroll Senior High Senior Awards May 17
Carroll Senior High School will celebrate the Seniors of 2016 at the Senior Awards Recognition on Tuesday, May 17 at 10 a.m. in the CSHS auditorium.
Class of 2016 Videoboard Graduation Message Deadline May 20
The Dragon Marketing Department is offering the opportunity to purchase a personalized, 7-second graduation message with photos to appear on the Dragon Stadium videoboard on Friday, June 3, 2016. The cost per message is $50 with proceeds benefiting Carroll ISD's General Fund. Click here for more information and how to order.
Project Graduation Tickets Now on Sale
Project Graduation tickets are currently on sale for $75 until May 13. The tickets are $85 after May 13. This all-night event will be held at Main Event in Grapevine Friday, June 3 starting at 11 p.m. following Commencement. The event is for Carroll Senior High School graduates only. Athletic Physical Information for 2016-2017 School Year
It is once again time for students to obtain their athletic physical for the 2016-2017 school year. Physicians, Nurses, and Physical Therapists from All-Star Orthopaedics, as well as other local physicians, will be working together to give your child the best physical assessment possible. CEF Partners with Zaniac Southlake for Open House Thursday
Zaniac Southlake, in partnership with Carroll Education Foundation, is hosting an Open House from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Stop in and experience the new dynamic learning center for K-6 students to gain 21st Century skills in Robotics, 3D Printing, Computer Programming, Game-Based Learning and Computer Programming. For a limited time, a portion of any summer camp or class purchases will go back into our schools through Carroll Education Foundation grants. View the flyer here.
Provide Feedback by Taking Carroll ISD Safety Survey - Deadline May 18
Carroll ISD has provided a safety survey for all parents and employees to fill out and offer feedback on the issue of school safety, security and wellness. The emails were sent Wednesday night. Feedback is important as Carroll ISD strives to improve serving our students. Deadline to submit the survey is 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 18. All responses are anonymous. If you are a CISD parent or employee and did not receive the survey email, please email julie.thannum@southlakecarroll.edu.
Dragon Baseball Opens Series Thursday with Hebron

Carroll Education Foundation Awards Scholarships
The Carroll Education Foundation awarded $1,000 tuition scholarships to 10 seniors and these students will be honored at the May 16 School Board meeting. Kendall Costello won the Ralph Williams Memorial Scholarship and Zachary E. Taqi was awarded the Brian Stebbins Memorial Scholarship. Others receiving scholarships included Wong Gyeong Seong, Hannah Katherine George, Thi Tran, Caden Matthew DiGiovanni, Kylie Rebecca Mason, Sarah Venesky, Anya Kiran Kushwaha and Dean DiBello.
CMS Theater Presents Alice in Wonderland
CMS Theater is proud to present Alice in Wonderland through May 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the CMS Cafetorium. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at www.tickettracker.com or at the show entrance. View the show poster here.
Remaining CISD Rangers Caps Available for Pick-Up with Voucher
For those who purchased Rangers tickets for CISD Night at the Ballpark and were unable to pick up their caps at the game, the caps are available for pickup at the CISD Administration Building. You must present your cap voucher in order to redeem your previously ordered cap. The deadline for cap pickup is Friday.

Kiwanis 5K Run 4 Kids Saturday at Dragon Stadium
Join Kiwanis at this year's 5K Run 4 Kids on Saturday, May 14 at Dragon Stadium. All participants receive a T-shirt and goodie bag. Race Day activities begin at 6:30 a.m. Click here for full race day details. Registration includes a $5 donation of choice, including CISD school PTOs.
Camp SOAR Offered for Children with Special Needs
Camp SOAR is a fun summer camp opportunity for children ages 5-21 where campers will play games and enjoy crafts and snacks. Participants are grouped by age and there is limited enrollment each week to maintain a safe camper to adult ratio. Camp hours are 1-4 p.m. daily during eight weeks of the summer.
