Dragon Debate Finishes the Year Strong

Summer School Registration Now Open

Dragon Baseball Faces Mansfield in Opening Playoff Round
The Carroll Dragon baseball team finished second in District 7-6A and opens the playoffs this week against Mansfield. The bi-district playoff series begins at 7:30 Friday at Mansfield. Game 2 is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Carroll and Game 3 (if necessary) will be played after Game 2. Read more about the Dragons here.

Remaining CISD Rangers Caps Available for Pick-Up with Voucher
For those who purchased Rangers tickets for CISD Night at the Ballpark and were unable to pick up their caps at the game, the caps are available for pickup at the CISD Administration Building. You must present your cap voucher in order to redeem your previously ordered cap. The deadline for cap pickup is Friday, May 13.

Dragon Den Having Huge Sale Thursday, Friday
The Dragon Den is hosting a huge two-day sale May 5-6 and everything in the store will be marked down 40%. The sale will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. The Dragon Den is located at Dragon Stadium - 1085 South Kimball.

Purchase Class of 2016 Videoboard Graduation Message
The Dragon Marketing Department is offering the opportunity to purchase a personalized, 7-second graduation message with photos to appear on the Dragon Stadium videoboard on Friday, June 3, 2016. Carroll Sending Three Runners to State Track Meet
The Carroll Dragons qualified three members of the track team for the Class 6A UIL State Track and Field Meet. The event will be held May 12-14 at Mike Myers Stadium at the University of Texas. Distance runner Reed Brown was the Region Champion in the 1,600 meters. He also qualified in the 3,200 meters. Read more about the qualifiers on MySouthlakeNews.com.

Special Programs PTO Hosts Presentation by Former CISD Student
CISD Special Programs PTO invites you to attend a presentation by author Kat Camp, a former CISD student with Dyslexia, at Carroll High School, 800 White Chapel Blvd. in Southlake on Wednesday, May 11 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. She will discuss how she was able to “overcome Dyslexia," will share experiences of having a learning disability as a CISD student and in college, and how she capitalized on her strengths and gifts. Dragon Football Spring Practices Kick Off

White's Chapel UMC presents Breaking the Power of Bad, a panel discussion with Derek Hess, recovery specialists and others, on Monday, May 9 at 6.p.m The cost is $5.
