Junie B. Jones Opens Tonight with Meet & Greets and Special Surprises
Carroll Senior High School’s performance of Junie B. Jones- The Musical opens tonight. Tickets are $10 and view showtime information on dragondrama.net. After each show Junie B. and friends will available to meet & greet guests and take pictures. Also, the first 15 guests at each performance (age 10 and under) will receive Junie’s First Day of 1st Grade Celebration Goody Bag. Watch the video preview here.

Lady Dragon Drama: Softball Team Produces Dramatic Playoff Victory
The Carroll Lady Dragons opened a Class 6A bi-district playoff series vs. South Grand Prairie with a dramatic victory on Thursday. The Lady Dragons scored six runs in the bottom of the 7th inning for a walkoff 11-10 victory. Game 2 of the series is 7:30 p.m. tonight at SGP and Game 3 (if needed) is 2 p.m. Saturday at Eaton High School.

Carroll ISD Night at the Ballpark Tonight
The Rangers will honor Carroll ISD tonight at the 7:05 p.m. game vs. the Angels. The Carroll choir will perform and the Teachers of the Year will be honored on the videoboard. Former Dragon quarterback Chase Daniel will throw out the first pitch.

Eubanks 6th Graders Square Off in Battle of the Books

Athletic Physical Information for 2016-2017 School Year
It is once again time for students to obtain their athletic physical for the 2016-2017 school year. Physicians, Nurses, and Physical Therapists from All-Star Orthopaedics, as well as other local physicians, will be working together to give your child the best physical assessment possible. Physicals will take place at the All-Star Orthopaedics offices. The cost of the physical is $25, with all the proceeds benefiting Carroll ISD Athletics. Get more information on MySouthlakeNews.com.

Dragon Golf Team Takes 4th Place at State Tournament
The Carroll Dragons and Lady Dragons competed in the Class 6A state tournament in Georgetown earlier this week. The Dragons finished fourth and the Lady Dragons were ninth. Read the results on MySouthlakeNews.com.

Big Dragon Den Sale May 5-6
The Dragon Den is hosting a huge two-day sale May 5-6 and everything in the store will be marked down 40%. The sale will be held from 4-7 p.m. on May 5 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 6. The Dragon Den is located at Dragon Stadium - 1085 South Kimball.

Dragon Tennis Team Placement Dates Set
Initial tryouts for incoming freshmen or anyone not currently on our JV or Varsity teams will be held on July 27-28 from 8-10 a.m. at the CSHS courts. Those that qualify for a Varsity or JV tryout will need to be present the following week of Aug. 1-5. Athletes who wish to make the program must be present during tryouts. All participants must have a current physical on file with the CISD athletic trainers or have one on the day of tryouts.
