Carroll Theatre Department Presents Junie B. Jones The Musical
The Carroll Theatre Department's final production of the 2015 - 2016 season will be Junie B. Jones The Musical. The three performances of this production are Friday, April 29 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 30 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. All performances will be the held in the Carroll Senior High School Auditorium. Track Teams Earn Second Place Finishes at District Meet
The District 7-6A track and field meet was held earlier this week at Coppell High School. The Dragons and Lady Dragons both finished second in the standings and both produced several area qualifiers. The area track meet will be held next Thursday at Coppell. Click here to see the list of qualifiers.
Old Union Elementary Alumni - Help Revive the School's Garden
Buy a personalized brick and be a part of OUES history. Bricks are $75 each. Deadline to purchase is Friday, April 29.
The money raised from the personalized bricks will be used to pave the way for the garden to grow. There are plans to incorporate community outreach with a Farmer’s Market, Pumpkin growing contest, sensory garden, Farm to Fork concept and much more. Click here to access the brick order form. PTO for CISD Special Progams Hosting Brown Bag Lunch & Learn
PTO for Special Programs and CISD Special Programs are hosting a Brown Bag Lunch and Learn – Resources for My Child’s Future, on Wednesday, April 20 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the CISD Administration Building in the John Lowry Library. For parents of students with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities, it is never too early to learn about programs that may serve your child in the future. Several agencies who provide post-secondary services, including DARS, TCC Transitional Skills/ Pathways Program, Starla Center, SOAR, and Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth, will give a brief overview of their programs and then will be available at tables for individual questions. Bring your own lunch, and drinks and dessert will be provided. RSVP at Melinda.mason@southlakecarroll.edu.

Dragon Tennis Team Placement Dates Set
Initial tryouts for incoming freshmen or anyone not currently on our JV or Varsity teams will be held on July 27-28 from 8-10 a.m. at the CSHS courts. Those that qualify for a Varsity or JV tryout will need to be present the following week of Aug. 1-5. Athletes who wish to make the program must be present during tryouts. All participants must have a current physical on file with the CISD athletic trainers or have one on the day of tryouts. Carroll Target Team Hosting Charity Sporting Clays Event May 6
The Carroll Target Program is hosting its inaugural charity event on May 6 at the Dallas Gun Club. The event includes a round of Sporting Clays at one of the top-ranked shooting courses in the country and help raise funds to benefit the Carroll students and volunteer coaches. Funds raised from the event with be used for scholarships, travel costs, training, and team assets. The event is open to all skill levels. Click here for more details.

Take a Trip and Help Buy Band Instruments
Braxdale Travel will donate 50% of the commission on every reservation booked during April and May to Band Aide for CISD that mentions Band Aide, CISD or Southlake Leadership when booking travel. Band Aide is a project of the Southlake Chamber Leadership Class to raise money for middle school band instrument at Carroll and Dawson Middle Schools.
