Dragons on Spring Break March 14-18
Carroll ISD's spring break will be from March 14-18. All schools and offices will be closed during this time. Schools will resume regular schedules on Monday, March 21 - which will be a "B" day for high school students.

School Board Meeting Monday
The Carroll ISD School Board will hold its regularly scheduled meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Carroll ISD Board Room, located at 2400 North Carroll Ave. View Monday's agenda here. The meeting will include special recognitions of the National Merit Finalists, Wrestling team, Swimming and Diving teams and cross country runner Reed Brown.

Dawson Performing Arts Company Presents First Annual Open Mic Night Tonight
Come enjoy an evening of songs and entertainment at Dawson Performing Arts Company’s first annual “Open Mic Night” tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Dawson Middle School. CMS Cheerleading Parent Information Meeting
All 6th grade DIS and 7th grade CMS students that are interested in joining the 2016-2017 CMS Cheerleading Squad must attend a Parent Information Meeting on Tuesday, March 8 at 5 p.m. in the CMS Library. Email jo.wasicek@southlakecarroll.edu with questions.

PALs Applications Now Available
PALs applications are now available to be picked up at the CHS and CSHS counselors office. Applications will be accepted until March 25.

CEF Accepting Applications for 10 Senior Scholarships
The Carroll Education Foundation is now accepting applications for ten $1,000 CEF Senior Scholarships for qualified seniors. Requirements and the application link are found here. CEF heavily relies on the generosity of sponsors and donors to fund the over $1.2M in grants and $200,000 in senior scholarships provided since inception. You can support CEF in its 20th Anniversary of giving back to Carroll ISD with a donation. SAGT Accepting Scholarship Applications
The Southlake Association for Gifted and Talented (SAGT) is now accepting applications for a $1,500 SAGT Senior Scholarship for a graduating senior. Requirements and the application link are found at www.southlakegifted.org.

FWOpera Mentors Southlake Students in Operatic Master Class
Fort Worth Opera's (FWOpera) talented Hattie Mae Lesley Apprentice Artists will host a Master Class and perform with students of Carroll Senior High School on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 7 p.m. Check out the full article here.

AP Booster Club Accepting Applications for Annual Senior Scholarships
The AP Booster Club is now accepting applications for the Annual Senior Scholarships for graduating seniors. The application process includes an application form and a typed 500-550 word Narrative Essay utilizing the provided topic. Applicants must be current members of the AP Booster Club, and have taken at least one AP, Pre-AP, or Honors class at any time during high school. View the full application here.

Parenting ADHD Kids
CISD Special Programs and the PTO for Special Programs presents “Parenting ADHD Kids,” a video that will address the unique challenges faced by families with ADHD kids. Bring your own lunch and join CISD Special Programs for the special viewing on Tuesday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the CISD Administration Center.
