Carroll Advances 18 Teams to Odyssey of the Mind State Tournament
It was another exciting year for Carroll’s Odyssey of the Mind Teams. This year’s tournament hosted 62 teams from across North Texas, one of five regions holding tournaments. Read more on MySouthlakeNews.com.

CEF Accepting Applications for 10 Senior Scholarships
The Carroll Education Foundation is now accepting applications for ten $1,000 CEF Senior Scholarships for qualified seniors. Requirements and the application link are found here. CEF heavily relies on the generosity of sponsors and donors to fund the over $1.2M in grants and $200,000 in senior scholarships provided since inception. Soccer Teams Earn District Victories Tuesday
The Carroll Dragons defeated Trinity 4-2 on Tuesday at Dragon Stadium to improve to 5-3-1 in district. The Lady Dragons also defeated Trinity 9-0 on the road to stay undefeated in district. Both teams play Friday vs. Colleyville Heritage.

Dragon Debate Team Breaks District Records
The 2015-2016 school year has been one of tremendous growth for the Dragon Debate Team, with over 100 students either enrolled in classes or actively competing. SAGT Accepting Scholarship Applications
The Southlake Association for Gifted and Talented (SAGT) is now accepting applications for a $1,500 SAGT Senior Scholarship for a graduating senior. Requirements and the application link are found at www.southlakegifted.org.

Former Lady Dragon Grabs Pac-12 Honor
Colorado freshman guard Kennedy Leonard, a former Carroll Lady Dragon, was named to the All-Pac 12 All-Freshman first team. Leonard averaged 11.8 points per game and led the team with 135 assists and 42 steals.

FWOpera Mentors Southlake Students in Operatic Master Class
Fort Worth Opera's (FWOpera) talented Hattie Mae Lesley Apprentice Artists will host a Master Class and perform with students of Carroll Senior High School on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 7 p.m. Check out the full article here.

Carroll Indoor Drum Line Hosting "Surge" Preview
The Carroll Indoor Drum Line will have a preview of their show "Surge" on Tuesday, March 8 at 7:10 p.m. at Carroll High School. Admission is free. This event will be in preparation to compete at the 2016 Mid South Percussion and Wind Championship in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

AP Booster Club Accepting Applications for Annual Senior Scholarships
The AP Booster Club is now accepting applications for the Annual Senior Scholarships for graduating seniors. The application process includes an application form and a typed 500-550 word Narrative Essay utilizing the provided topic. Applicants must be current members of the AP Booster Club, and have taken at least one AP, Pre-AP, or Honors class at any time during high school. View the full application here.

Parenting ADHD Kids
CISD Special Programs and the PTO for Special Programs presents “Parenting ADHD Kids,” a video that will address the unique challenges faced by families with ADHD kids. Dawson Performing Arts Company Presents First Annual Open Mic Night
