Soccer Teams Earn Big Wins Friday Night
The Carroll Lady Dragons posted an 8-0 victory last Friday against Richland in District 7-6A action. The Lady Dragons return to action Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Trinity. The Dragons also posted a big win last Friday at Richland 8-2. Carroll hosts Trinity at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dragon Stadium.

EIS Library Hosts Perot Museum TECH Truck Tuesday
The Eubanks Intermediate School library will host the Perot Museum's TECH Truck on Open House Night, Tuesday, March 1 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The goal of the TECH Truck is to engage students in hands-on, maker-based science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) experience that fosters creativity and confidence. Activity stations will be set up in the library for students and the new EIS library furniture will be showcased.

AP Booster Club Accepting Applications for Annual Senior Scholarships
The AP Booster Club is now accepting applications for the Annual Senior Scholarships for graduating seniors. The application process includes an application form and a typed 500-550 word Narrative Essay utilizing the provided topic. Applicants must be current members of the AP Booster Club, and have taken at least one AP, Pre-AP, or Honors class at any time during high school. View the full application here.

Durham Student Reaches State Competition
Durham Intermediate School 5th grader Arya Tanneru has qualified for the state level competition of the National Geograhpic Bee. The Texas State Bee will be held Friday, April 1.

Parenting ADHD Kids
CISD Special Programs and the PTO for Special Programs presents “Parenting ADHD Kids,” a video that will address the unique challenges faced by families with ADHD kids. Bring your own lunch and join CISD Special Programs for the special viewing on Tuesday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the CISD Administration Center. Dawson Performing Arts Company Presents First Annual Open Mic Night

Dragon Varsity Hockey Team in Playoffs Tonight
The Carroll Dragon Varsity Hockey team (14-6) finished the season in 3rd place in the Varsity Silver Division. The Dragons will face Frisco (10-10) on Monday, Feb. 29 in the first round of the High School Hockey Varsity Silver Playoffs. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be played at the Dr Pepper StarCenter in Euless, located at 1400 South Pipeline Rd.
