District Accepting Feedback for 2016-2017 Calendar Options

Dragons Go RED Parent Challenge
Order your 2016 Go Red For Women T-shirts and join CISD students and staff in supporting the American Heart Association's GO RED campaign. Last day to order shirts is Thursday, Feb. 18. Shirts will be delivered directly to the CISD campus of your choice by the end of February. Don’t forget to post your GO RED pictures on social media and add #DragonsGoRed, #SouthlakeCarrollISDGoRed, #SouthlakeCarrollISDiswhy and #SouthlakeCarrollISD to help raise awareness. Eubanks PTO Initiates Library Renovation Campaign
Eubanks Intermediate School PTO is launching a fundraising campaign to raise the remaining $40,000 to finalize the library renovation project, which has already begun this year. The balance of the library renovation will incorporate a PC study zone, a class collaboration area, an updated reception space, and a “maker space” conference room that will be equipped with resources to encourage creativity and innovation and advance the use of technological applications. Preschool Enrollment Lottery Feb. 17
Preschool registration packets for the 2016-2017 school year are now available on the Preschool Program website. The lottery will be held on Feb.17 at 9:30 a.m at the Carroll ISD Administration Building. March Becomes Book Madness Month for High Schools
The Carroll Senior High School and Carroll High School libraries are partipating in Book Madness, a take on March Madness. Books will make up the bracket. The books in the brackets are the 16 most popularly checked out books from both the libraries. Read more on MySouthlakeNews.com.

Carroll Swimming/Diving Teams Sweep Region Meet
The Carroll boys’ and girls’ swimming and diving teams produced a sweep of the Class 6A Region 3 championships last weekend. Both teams dominated and the Dragons scored 636.5 points, which and more than 400 points ahead of second place. The Lady Dragons scored 463.5 points, well ahead of second-place Allen. Students interested in trying out for cheerleader can pick up a packet at Carroll Middle, Dawson Middle, Carroll HS or Carroll Senior HS now through Feb. 15.
Dragon Hockey Senior Night Thursday
Dragon Hockey will be celebrating seniors on Thursday 7:30 p.m. Dragon senior players will be honored before the varsity game at the Dr. Pepper Star Center at 1400 South Pipeline Rd. in Euless.
