CISD Considers Fixing CES Split Zone
One issue still on the table for consideration is an attendance zone change for a small number of families at Carroll Elementary School. For years, Carroll ISD has heard from citizens who want the School Board and Administration to fix the split attendance zone for Carroll Elementary School. Historically, all those students in the CES zone who live north of FM 1709/Southlake Blvd. have split away from their friends to attend 5th and 6th grades at Durham Intermediate in the north feeder system. The rest of their classmates have been zoned to Eubanks Intermediate in the south feeder system. For the first time, CISD Trustees have the opportunity to change the CES zone to ensure that all CES students get to attend Eubanks Intermediate together. Read more on MySouthlakeNews.com.
