National Signing Day Event Highlights Several Dragons

Carroll Band Bistro Saturday at CHS
The Carroll band will have its annual Bistro with dinner, music by the students and silent auction on Saturday, Feb. 6. The bistro will be held at the Carroll High School cafeteria. Dinner is from 6-7:30 p.m. and provided by Buca di Beppo. Tickets are for sale at the CHS & CSHS front offices through Wednesday. Cash or checks made out to the Carroll Band Boosters. Wrestling Hosting District Championships at CHS
The Carroll Dragon wrestling team is hosting the district championships at Carroll High School. Follow Dragon Wrestling's Twitter account for the latest updates. The top four finishes in each class advance to the regionals. Eight Dragons were seeded first in their weight class. The girls varsity and junior varsity wrestle on Thursday at CHS starting at 9:30 p.m.

District Opens Preschool Enrollment for 2016-2017 School Year
Preschool registration packets for the 2016-2017 school year are now available on the Preschool Program website. The lottery will be held on Feb.17 at 9:30 a.m at the Carroll ISD Administration Building. CISD Hosts North Texas Region Odyssey of the Mind Tournament Feb. 27
Carroll ISD will host the North Texas Region Odyssey of the Mind Tournament at Carroll High School from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27. Sixty-two teams from across North Texas will compete, including 21 teams from Carroll. Carroll High School Student to Perform at Album Release Concert
Cool Pony Media of Colleyville is thrilled to announce the release of the Electrofest Volume One compilation featuring Carroll High School sophomore Lauren Henriksen. Lauren was signed by Cool Pony Music when she was 13 years old, and will be releasing her first solo album this March. Lauren has also been named an ambassador of To Write Love on Her Arms, a non-profit organization that works closely with Cool Pony Media. Learn more about the album release concert here.

Community News: Best Buddies Valentine's Dinner & Dance
The SASO sponsored Best Buddies Valentine' s Dinner and Dance is Saturday from 7-10 p.m. at the Carroll Senior High School Student Activity Center. Tickets are $5 and available at the door.

Community News: Miracle League Fundraiser Feb. 19
Miracle League is hosting its inaugural fundraising and recognition event on Feb.19 from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Southlake Hilton. Now entering its second season, the Miracle League has a need to fund its operations, including insurance and equipment. Each table of 10 will include a major league baseball representative. Join Miracle League as they continue to expand the program now serving Carroll ISD and surrounding districts.
