Carroll Teams Set Odyssey of the Mind Tournament Record
Carroll ISD set a record at last weekend’s Odyssey of the Mind State Finals Tournament in Houston. Over a dozen teams earned medals, 10 of those teams are headed to the OM World Finals next month. Time to Renew Dragon Football Season Tickets
Current Dragon football season ticket holders have until April 24 to renew tickets. After tickets are renewed, ticket holders are eligible for Trade Day on May 8. All open seats will go on sale at the CISD Administration Center on May 15.

Dragon Academic Team Favorited at Regionals
The Carroll Social Studies Team earned the high score in the state at a recent competition and is favorited to win at Region 1-6A UIL Meet later this month. Carroll CompSci and Current Events teams will also be competing. Read the full story on MySouthlakeNews.com.

Signing Day Ceremony Wednesday at CSHS
Carroll Senior High School will host a National Letter of Intent signing ceremony at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday in the Student Activity Center. Family, students, staff and the community are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Relay For Life Southlake Team Captain Meeting Wednesday
The next Team Captain meeting for this year’s Relay For Life Southlake will be Wednesday, April 15 at the CISD Administration Center from 6-7 p.m. Click here to form a team or join an existing one. Relay For Life Southlake is Friday, May 29 at Carroll High School. This is the sixth year CISD and ACS have teamed up to fight cancer.

Order Your Official Relay For Life Southlake T-Shirt
Carroll ISD announces this year’s “Paint the Town Purple” T-shirt is available for purchase online. A portion of the donation will cover the cost of the shirt; the remaining money will be donated to Relay for Life Southlake. Carroll ISD teachers and staff will be allowed to wear this shirt on Thursdays in May with jeans. Order by April 23 and pick up Tuesday, May 6 at the Administration Building. Next School Year's CREW Announced
Auditions were held last Friday and CREW Sponsor Linda Lacava announced the team of students who will be generating spirit at Carroll events. Members of the 2015-2016 CREW and mascot are posted on MySouthlakeNews.com.

Progression Art Show Coming to CSHS
The Carroll Senior High School Art Department announces a spring art show titled “Progression Show." The event opens Thursday, April 16 and runs through April 22 during normal school hours inside the Carroll Senior High Art Gallery. Campus visitors will need to check in at the front office.

Play It Forward Southlake Drive April 17
Play It Forward Southlake will host a new and used equipment drive Friday, April 17 at the Carroll varsity softball and baseball games at Carroll Senior High School from 5:30-7:45 p.m. The drive benefits young athletes in the DFW area. Come meet Pro Players from the Pro Players Foundation and get an autograph. Get a PIF Southlake bracelet upon giving a donation. The donation area will be in front of the baseball-softball complex. Eubanks Celebration of the Fine Arts Night April 17
The 10th Annual Eubanks Celebration of the Fine Arts Night will be held Friday, April 17 from 6-8 p.m. Please join EIS to celebrate the many fine talents of students with an evening of student artwork, band and choir performances, and outstanding solos and small ensembles. The celebration is free and open to the public.

Dragon Youth Cheerleading Registration Underway
Dragon Youth Cheerleading (DYC) Registration for the fall season is now underway. If you have a child in kindergarten-6th grade for the 2015-2016 school year you can register them at either of our upcoming walk-up registrations to be held at Ivivva - located across the parking lot from Studio A Dance and The Art House - on Saturday, May 9 (9 a.m. -12 p.m.) or Saturday, June 13 (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.).  Registration is $150 per cheerleader (price includes registration fees, T-shirt, and DYC cheer camp - price does not include uniform package or extra cheer items).
