April marks the 30th Anniversary of School Library Month. Carroll ISD school libraries provide materials for teachers and students that will encourage growth and knowledge and develop literary, cultural, aesthetic appreciation, and ethical standards. CREW and Varsity Mascot Tryouts Application Deadline Friday
Applications are being accepted through Friday, April 3 for students interested in being a member of CREW next school year. To be a member of CREW a student must be a senior during the 2015-16 school year. To try out for Varsity Mascot a student must be a junior or a senior during the 2015-16 school year. Applications are available at Carroll Senior High School in room 405, Mascot applications are also available in the front office at CSHS, and Carroll High School. Tryouts will be Friday, April 10 at CSHS. Email questions to CREW sponsor Linda Lacava linda.lacava@southlakecaroll.edu.

Johnson Elementary Siblings Pages For a Day
Brother and sister Houston and Hayden Claire Harding will soon get a one-of-a-kind experience when they travel to Austin this month to be an honorary Page for a Day. Teams are forming now, visit http://www.relayforlife.org/southlaketx to register your team or join an existing one. The last day for teams to submit their $50 commitment is Friday, April 24. This year's Relay For Life will be held May 29.

College Lacrosse Game Saturday at Dragon Stadium
Dragon Stadium will host a Division I lacrosse game featuring Bellarmine University vs. Air Force at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 4. Tickets are available at southlakelacrosse.org. The game features former Carroll Dragon Connor Harryman, a freshman midfielder at Bellarmine.
