Carroll Show Choir Makes Live TV Debut
Members of the Carroll Show Choir appeared on live TV this morning on the Good Morning Texas news program. The students performed a song and Choir Director, Marla Ringel discussed the group’s upcoming trip to Italy and performance at Vatican City. CMA Hosting Career Day on Thursday
The Carroll Medical Academy will host more than 50 physicians on Thursday for its annual Career Day. It will be held at the Carroll ISD Administration building. Watch for Carroll ISD tweets Thursday from the event.
Carroll Celebrates National School Counseling Week
The Carroll ISD joins districts across the country in recognizing the unique contributions of professional school counselors in U.S. school systems. Dragons Go Red Update: Online Registration for Blood Drive
The annual Dragons Go Red campaign returns this month. This year, Carroll ISD is teaming up with Carroll Senior High School Student Council for a district wide blood drive. The drive will be Thursday, Feb. 19 at CSHS. Click here to make a reservation online. Additional Dragons Go Red activities include weekly emails from CISD Health Services, and donations to the American Heart Association for the opportunity for staff to wear jeans on Thursdays in February. Annual Band Bistro Returns to CSHS Saturday
The Carroll Dragon Band Boosters and students will host the annual Band Bistro on Saturday, Feb. 7. Guests are welcome to enjoy an Italian dinner and dessert accompanied by music from Carroll Band Students. The Bistro takes place inside the Carroll High School cafeteria. Music begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6. Click here for ticket information and order form.

Dragon Students Participating in NASA Launch Party
Eubanks Intermediate School and Dawson Middle School are excited to offer students the opportunity to participate in the first NASA Student Launch Party at Carroll ISD’s Observatory on Friday, Feb. 13 from 6-8 p.m. The purpose of NASA’s Student Launch Party is to promote NASA’s upcoming Multiscale Magnetosphere Mission (MMS), which is set to launch March 12, 2015. Celebrate Chinese Spring Festival with Southlake Sister Cities & CHS Chinese Club
Carroll High School will host a Chinese Spring Festival to celebrate the Chinese New Year on Feb. 25 from 5-8 p.m. at the CHS cafeteria. This free event will also include Chinese refreshments and craft activities hosted by the Southlake Sister Cities. From 6-8 p.m. a Chinese Speech and Talent Contest will be held by Carroll High School students.
