Greetings!
This is the moment that separates the true patriots from the pretenders. Is our commitment to liberty mere rhetoric, or are we willing to fight to the bitter end - whatever the cost - to rescue our nation from the grip of tyranny?
In the words of Thomas Paine, "What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated."
If we give up now, we condemn our children and grandchildren to a future with no freedom, no prosperity, and no hope for anything better. Can we look them in the eye and tell them that we had a chance to reverse the tide, but threw up our hands in defeat when the going got tough?
Our founders pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to fight for the right to be free. Generations of Americans have given the ultimate sacrifice to preserve it. We can do no less.
There are five things you can do RIGHT NOW to fight back:
1. Sign up as a possible candidate for local office. The next election is in May, when there will be several spots opening for school boards and other offices. Many have gone uncontested in the past. We need conservative candidates on all these boards! 2. Become a Precinct Committee Person (PCP) and help us take over the GOP from the inside and select their candidates. Right now there are dozens of empty PCP slots all over the state. We need Tea Partiers in all of them.
3. Get involved with one of these great organizations fighting for liberty.
4. Contribute to the Oregon Tea Party PAC. 5. PRAY for God's mercy on our nation, and that Providence, who guided our founders to victory over tyranny, would be with us! Let's roll!
