Back for its third year, Lakewood is hosting a Summer Fitness Challenge! Come join Recreation staff and fellow competitors in a one day test of your overall fitness. Throughout the challenge competitors must be able to swim, attempt push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and run for their final score. New for 2013, event improvements include a revised scoring template to provide fair and more exciting competition, improved movement scoring standards, and new event layout and flow. Lakewood Recreation staff welcomes competitors of any fitness level to come out and get a gauge of where they are currently in their journey towards fitness. Contact 720-963-5368 for more information. We look forward to seeing you on June 29!
