Mission

The Saugerties Farmers Market is committed to bringing local seasonal food to market; preserving small family farms; promoting healthy eating; building community; and attracting visitors to historic Saugerties.

SquashThe frost is on the pumpkin ....

Well, almost. But pumpkins are here, along with winter squashes, fingerling potatoes, apples, pears, and especially apple cider.

Garlic, onions, leeks, collards, kale, and other vegetables are still going strong.

Sweet and savory baked goods, gluten-free goodies, and pretzel creations will be available, along with farm-fresh eggs, pasture-raised meats (including some organic options), fresh-caught seafood, tasty cheeses, sweet and salty brittles, and many other local, artisanal foods.

And don't forget the beautiful assortment of fresh flowers from Shoving Leopard Farm!

This is the second-to-last outdoor market. The last outdoor market will be October 25. We'll have two indoor markets this year at the Saugerties Senior Center, November 22 and December 20. Indoor markets this year will be on Saturdays, 10-2, keeping the same schedule as the outdoor markets.

Reserve a Turkey for Thanksgiving

Joe and Laura Aiello at Mangia Bene Farm are raising birds for Thanksgiving again this year.

(Here's a picture of Joe pre-seasoning his flock with squashes and apples.)

Talk to Joe at the market about reserving a turkey for your Thanksgiving meal, or you can contact him by phone or email:
