Greetings-
Another year is almost over. We are certainly looking forward to the holidays beginning with Thanksgiving. We are currently researching all the Thanksgiving offerings from various establishments. Once we have a good list together we will get it to you in a timely manner.
CONGRATULATIONS to our Trip Advisor Wall of Fame special mentions. It is easy to write a negative comment stemming from a bad experience. It is harder to write a positive one. These individuals certainly went above and beyond and our duly recognized for their hard work and passion to serve.
THANK YOU!
Enjoy these winter months. They certainly short-lived in the tropics.
Kind Regards,
Miguel Pena

Eating gourmet cuisine for a good cause is guilt-free dining at its best. South Florida residents and visitors have access to some of the world's best food, but the chefs responsible rarely get out of the kitchen long enough to take credit. Thanks to Easter Seals' 27th-annual Festival of Chefs, Miami's finest get to share their signature dishes and latest creations with culinary peers and the public, all while benefiting Easter Seals South Florida's Culinary Arts High School, a vocational training program for students ages 16 through 22 with autism and other disabilities.
Funkshion Swim: Fashion Week Miami Beach

Collins Park

All the major labels come out to play and young up-and-coming designers vie for a spot to get their suits into the eyes of the fashion elite. Nearly fifty designers show off their latest and greatest in the Mercedes-Benz tents alone. Across the city dozens of designers participate in satellite events that are organized by independent organizations.

FEATURED RESTAURANTS
At first glace, a Collins Ave sushi restaurant with a name only slightly less tacky than the T-shirts sold next door might not seem like the BEST place for a sushi meal. But unlike those T-shirts, eating here won't make you a joke to locals. That's because it's a hidden-in-plain-sight gem, serving actually-delicious sushi in an inventive Asian restaurant disguised as a tourist trap. So a real local will give you props for choosing to endure the deafening bass from rented Ferraris in order to have some of the best affordable sushi in South Beach.
La Locanda
Kind of like the old Italian immigrants who moved to Manhattan 100 years ago and watched the city rise, so has La Locanda seen the South of Fifth area explode since it opened. And while countless competitors have opened -- and many closed -- this little hole in the wall still serves up the best, most authentic Italian food in South Beach, and according to many local Italians, the best pizza in Miami, too.
Ms. Cheezious
Ms. Cheezious co-founders Brian and Fatima Mullins and M. Christian Dickens rolled the first Ms. Cheezious food truck on to the streets of Miami in December, 2010. And with it, they took Miami by storm with everyone's favorite comfort food; grilled cheese sandwiches - only not quite as innocent as mom used to make!
