Midland Area Farmers Market
Open Every Wednesday
and Saturday

Farmers Market
The Farmers Market is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 7 a.m. until 12 p.m.; some vendors may stay until 1 p.m. The Market is located at the end of Ashman Street in Downtown Midland.

While not all vendors attend every market, you'll now find beans, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, peaches, watermelon, honeyrocks, garlic, sweet corn, peppers, beets, strawberries, carrots, bok choi, radishes, honey, maple syrup, hand-press oils, pasta, baked goods, fresh Michigan fish, local meat, eggs, cut flowers, plants, hanging baskets and more!

New this year, we even have a food court area where you can enjoy hot food. Some of those vendors may stay until 1 p.m. To keep up on Market updates, please follow the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/midlandfarmersmarket

Visit the Wolverine Bank booth to use your credit, debit or EBT card to shop at the Market.

Thank you to our Market Sponsors:

Signs, Signs, Everywhere a Sign

I don't know about you, but I have been going down a whole lot of new roads lately. It seems everywhere I need to go, I find my route peppered with signs indicating improvements being made to our transportation infrastructure. I know it's easy to get frustrated, but let's all take a deep breath and look at the positives.

1. Think of how nice our City will be with smooth pavement under our tires instead of dodging potholes like an Olympic slalom skier going down a mogul run!

2. Use the temporary route as an opportunity to see what businesses you might drive by that you normally don't see. Stop in sometime to see what you've been missing.

3. If your destination business is blocked off temporarily, why not think healthy and park a block or two down the street and walk? As you walk, take in all the views you otherwise might miss from the inside of your car.

So many times, it is easy to get stuck in the boring same old routine. Why not use this season of road construction as one to stretch your wings and make the best of it?

Strategic Planning Input

Megaphone man As many of you know, we are undergoing an in-depth strategic plan. We are collecting as much data as we can from all Chamber members. If you have not taken the member survey, please click the link below to weigh in with your thoughts. Thank you!

Advertisers Calling On Our Behalf

? We have been alerted that someone is calling using our name, leaving an 800 number to call back. Upon returning that call, it goes to a message about winning a trip to the Bahamas. This company is NOT associated with us and appears to be a scam.

The only companies who will call you about advertising are the following companies:

- Harbor House Publishers - This is the company that produces our annual directory.
- Target Marketing - This company is printing our Midland Map.
- Weblink International - This company manages the advertising on our website.
- ChamberMail - This company produces a mailer to new residents in the area.

If you ever have questions about someone calling or emailing you on our behalf, please let us know for verification. Thank you!
