Another successful State Summer Games! 
 
 With another State Summer Games in the books, we would like to thank the 1,500 athletes, Unified Partners, and coaches, as well as the 1,200 volunteers, and numerous sponsors for making these games possible!

 Amazon.com has launched a new initiative called Amazon Smile, which allows you to support your favorite charity with every online purchase. When you go to smile.amazon.com, it will ask you to login to your amazon account and then choose
your favorite charity. If you type in Special Olympics and search, a number of options will pop up including "Special Olympics Inc" and a number of state Programs, including New Mexico. Pick that one and help support our athletes!

Once you have selected your charity, it automatically adds it to your profile and EVERY purchase you make sends 0.5% of that purchase to us. Check it out today and support our athletes all year long! 
A night to remember - SONM Dinner & Auction! 

The 2014 SONM Dinner & Auction is a little over a month away and is sure to be an elegant and unforgettable night!

The event will take place on July 19th at the Embassy Suites. In addition to the silent and live auctions with great items, there will be an indoor golf challenge, with a chance to win prizes and a goody bag raffle! You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the piano stylings of Miss Albuquerque, Gabrielle Torres, during the silent auction! Operation Kidsafe begins this week!   

Don't forget to stop by the "grand re-opening" of the Kidsafe digital fingerprinting stations at all three Mark's Casa Auto Group locations starting tomorrow, June 5th, until Saturday, June 7th. Mark's Casa Auto Group and Kidsafe, in partnership with Special Olympics New Mexico, are pleased to offer these free fingerprinting stations that capture your child's photo and fingerprints. Then parents are given a printout with the information on it that they can provide to law enforcement anywhere in the world to instantly aid with an emergency. See the flyer below for locations, times, and more information about the program!
