We Gathered

One of the smartest things we have done as an organization is to bring our Local Coordinators, Area Directors, Head Coaches, Torch Run officials, Board members and Staff together in the same room at the same time, so that we all are hearing the same words.  In a workbookstate as large and diverse as ours - taking care of business together always creates a better and stronger organization for our athletes.

One of our very own Special Olympics Moms, Vicki Assaad has been chosen as one of Mutual of Omaha's Top 10 "aha moments." Of these 10 finalists, one inspirational story will be selected through online voting. If Vicki's story is chosen, it will appear in Mutual of Omaha's 2014 nationwide TV ads!

Law Enforcement Torch Run News!

SOUTH CENTRAL Region Red Robin Tip-A-Cop this weekend 

On October 12th, SOUTH CENTRAL Region LETR Officers will host a Red Robin Tip-A-Cop
 at the Cottonwood and Century 21 locations. Come join us for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or dinner from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Local law enforcement officers will be serving as celebrity waiters to collect "tips" to support Special Olympics New Mexico athletes.  Enjoy some great food and fun!

SOUTHWEST Region to hold Tip-A-Cop at Applebee's 
SOUTHWEST Region LETR officers will host a Tip-A-Cop at two Las Cruces Applebee's locations tomorrow, September 10th . From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. visit either the Applebee's on 2501 E Lohman Ave. or 1601 Hickory Loop and support your LETR officers and SONM athletes.
