January 30-31 in Gatineau, Québec
The regular registration deadline for the Summit, set to take place at the Hilton Lac-Leamy, ends tomorrow. After January 9 the registration fee will increase from $279 to $309, and group rates will no longer be applicable. Remember, registration for the Summit gives you access to all sessions on January 30 and 31, as well as lunch on each day. Also, you won't want me to miss the innovative pre-Workshops and Mini-Summits that are happening on January 29!

Six Kemptville, Ont. sport organizations recently announced the formation of the North Grenville Youth Athletic Development (NGYAD), a coalition of local sport clubs looking to improve player and coach development for all sport clubs in the area. It is by design that Field Hockey BC excludes results and outcomes from the "festival"-style competitions it hosts for its younger athletes. Instead of keeping score, it bases its events around skill development, technical progression, fun and participation.
