Back-to-School Meet and Greet &
Family BBQ
Sunday August 30 from 10:00 -1:00
Please join us this Sunday August 30 for a special family back-to-school event.
Parents and students are both invited to meet their child's teacher, other classmates and find out the exciting programs that will be going on during the school year.
This is a family event and parents must accompany their children.
The meet and greet time-frame is a drop in and open house from 10:00 - 10:40
Then please join the clergy in the sanctuary at about 10:40, followed by a family BBQ sponsored by the men's group and sisterhood.
This is a fun and informative day and we hope you can join us for this special event!
- 10:00 Meet & Greet with teachers
- 10:40 Join the Rabbi and the Cantor in the Sanctuary
- 11:00 Family BBQ in the courtyard
Still haven't dropped off your registration forms? Please stop by the temple office on Sunday morning. We will be collecting forms and helping anyone with questions or concerns.

Religious School Schedule:
Hebrew school will begin Wednesday September 9
and Thursday September 10
Sunday School classes begin Sunday September 20
All of the back-to-school packets have been mailed. Included in the packet is:
a letter from the Rabbi about services and special programs, class assignments, teacher information, school calendar, and the parking lot schedule.

Come meet our new Emissary Shaked !
Please welcome our new emissary Shaked Nisani, he will be joining our community this school year as part of the Israeli Young Emissary program sponsored by the Federation for Jewish Philanthropy.
Shaked enjoys wake-boarding in the Sea of Galilee, hanging out with friends and going on trips with them. He took part in a program named "Hands of Peace" in Chicago, which discussed the Israeli-Palestinian conflicts. He also enjoys many different Sports. He likes playing soccer and is a fan of Maccabi Haifa team. He likes basketball and watches Maccabi Tel-Aviv games in Europe and the NBA games. To read more about Shaked

Family Service
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 4
with "Pre-Neg"!
Join us for family services on Friday, September 4.
It will start with a kid-friendly pre-neg (pizza and veggies)! at 6 p.m., followed by the service at 6:30 p.m. Song, Story and Worship.
At 7:15 pm Birthday Celebration and Oneg!
A perfect event for families with kids in PreK-5. Spread the word and see you there!
