We perform comprehensive mold removal services and will do our best to get your location back to normal again in a quick manner.

We cannot stress enough just how important it is to get rid of mold. Mold doesn't just look unsightly, it can also cause you to become sick. Mold can cause: breathing problems, headaches, fatigue, nausea, and a variety of other health problems which you shouldn't have to deal with.

EMERGENCY WATER REMOVAL

Flash flooding, plumbing leaks, and groundwater leaks can all cause you to need emergency water removal services. AdvantaClean provides affordable and dependable emergency water removal and water damage cleanup services to residential and commercial locations in the area. Regardless of what time of day it may be, our crew can come out to your location to assist you. We offer 24 hour water removal services because we know that problems don't just come up during regular business hours!
Our skilled fire and water damage restoration contractors have expertise in emergency response as well as disaster recovery situations. When such disasters hit, whether it's a flood inside your basement or crawl space, a leak in your roofing or smoke and soot damage in your house, contact fire and flood damage professionals for comprehensive repair and restoration services.

AIR DUCT CLEANING

It's important to schedule routine air duct cleaning for your home or business because your ductwork has a huge impact on your indoor air quality. Without proper cleaning and maintenance, your air ducts can get clogged with dust and other airborne particles. This can lead to allergies and a number of other health-related problems which can be avoided with regular air duct cleaning services from us!

Along with routine air duct cleaning, it is recommended that you think about getting your air vents cleaned by professionals following any of these events: water getting into your ducts (leaking water line, leaking roof, defective condensation management by your ac unit), a flood (in your house or in your community), a fire nearby, mold was discovered in the course of servicing of your heating or air conditioner system, rats or bugs are known to have been around in the ducts, major home remodeling, or when moving into a brand new home.

FIRE DAMAGE CLEANUP

If your residential or commercial location has recently suffered from a fire, we can provide you with fire damage cleanup services which you can count on. It's important to take care of cleanup following a fire so you can lessen the damage caused from the fire itself. Smoke damage can also be taken care of to eliminate the smell caused from the burning materials.

Fire damage restoration is a job which a homeowner must take seriously. The most practical and logical action for homeowners is to get in touch with trained experts that specialize in restoring homes damaged by fire. More often than not, homeowners attempt to save their money by cleaning and restoring home materials on their own, only to find out that ultimately, they just wasted a lot of time and energy.

Fire damage restoration isn't a simple job, particularly when the home to be treated has severe smoke damage. Among the first jobs is the proper elimination of smoke and soot from the home. Soot is the well-known term for contaminated airborne particles created by burning or combustion. It is viewed as a general health hazard, especially to the breathing system. The soot can be taken out from the house by using a heavy-duty or industrial vacuum. It needs to be taken out as soon as possible before any deodorizing process. Appropriate ventilation all through your home is also required, so it is important to keep windows, doors, and air vents open.

CRAWL SPACE SERVICES

AdvantaClean offers crawl space water damage cleanup and mold removal services in the Carolinas.Your crawl space is best left to the professionals to take care of. Most homeowners don't have the necessary tools or know-how to properly take care of this area beneath their home.

Please call AdvantaClean at 888-664-7597 to learn more about our services and to schedule an appointment. We look forward to helping you soon!

The Spartanburg Little Theatre is proud to present the smash hit musical Chicago on January 11, 12, 18, and 19 at 8:00 pm and on January 13, 19, and 20 at 3:00 pm in the David W. Reid Theatre at the Chapman Cultural Center.

In roaring twenties Chicago, chorus girl Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap...until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie joins forces with Velma Kelly, another merry murderess, and the two vie for the spotlight and the headlines in search of the American dream: fame, fortune, and acquittal. A sensuous tale of sin, corruption, and all that jazz, Chicago features a dazzling score, knock-out dancing, and show-stopping favorites like "When You're Good to Mama," "Cell Block Tango," and "Razzle Dazzle."

"We've been trying to get the rights to do Chicago for over 10 years," says Jay Coffman, executive artistic director of The Spartanburg Little Theatre. "We're very excited and honored to be the first theatre in the Upstate to finally be able to stage this amazing show."

The 1996 Broadway revival of Chicago currently holds the record for the longest running revival and the longest running American musical in Broadway history. The 2002 film version won 6 Academy Awards, including one for Best Picture.

"The anticipation level for this show is very high," says Coffman. "With this stellar cast and the amazing creative team behind it, I know the Upstate will be talking about Chicago for years to come."

Chicago is rated PG-13 for mild adult language and adult themes. The Saturday, January 19th performance at 3:00 pm will be sign language-interpreted for the deaf.

Tickets for Chicago are available at
www.chapmanculturalcenter.org or by calling the Chapman Cultural Center box office at (864) 542-2787.

Gallery East in Spartanburg will host local artist Bailie's new exhibit, In the Valley of the Shadow Omo, Tuesday, Jan. 8, through Saturday, Feb. 16. With 12 main sculptures and a variety of ceramic bowls, Bailie (single name only) has captured the essence of the main 12 tribes in the African region of Omo. Created from natural materials, such as clay, wood, and shells, the representative statue for each tribe is as historically accurate as possible.

This sculpture-based show will hold a reception Friday, Jan. 11, 6-9 p.m., and the exhibit is open to the public Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 512 E. Main Street. In addition to the statues, there is a variety of other related items, including jewelry, lip plates, wooden statues, and sticks. The main statues range from $500 to $2,000, and the related items sell for $10-$75. Visitors can register to win one of the exhibit items, valued at $75, by submitting their names and basic contact information.

Bailie has created an exhibit full of "art with a cause." He was inspired by other tribal imitations and decided to create his own, thereby stumbling upon the issue of construction along the Omo River in Ethiopia. Omo tribes are suffering throughout the valley as a large hydro-electric dam is threatening to be built upon the Omo River. This dam would only worsen the problematic dry lifestyle of the Omo tribes; however countries, such as China, are pushing to continue construction. This exhibit serves to represent the tribes and to raise awareness to the issues the dam would bring to the Omo tribes. Bailie has captured the beauty of each tribe with a natural grace that urges viewers to fight for the tribes' future.

Bailie, a Spartanburg native, is the owner of Bailie Studios. His artwork ranges from murals and portraits to sculptures, and his work has been featured across the state. He is a member of the South Carolina Commission Roster of Teacher Education and resident artist at the local South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind. He also teaches at the Spartanburg Art Museum in Chapman Cultural Center. Bailie has worked on this new exhibit for more than two years, and states he has "not only grown as an artist but gained a wealth of knowledge I would not have been exposed to." You can find more of his art at www.bailiestudios.com.

Gallery East is a local retail-front gallery located near downtown Spartanburg, open Tuesday through Saturday.
