Our July Community Partner: The Smashing Walnuts Foundation
Our July community outreach partner is the Smashing Walnuts foundation, founded by Ellyn and Mark Miller at the urging of their nine year old daughter, Gabriella. We never had the opportunity to meet Gabriella in person, but were blessed to hear her speak at CureFest in 2013, which you can watch here. We were amazed by her eloquence, courage and ability to captivate an audience better than most celebrities. Please do take a moment to read more about Smashing Walnuts and the amazing Gabriella Miller. We will be donating $1 from every haircut from both locations in July to Smashing Walnuts.

Major Milestones @ Salon Khouri
On May 27th, we celebrated 11 years of business at our Fairfax location and on July 1st, we celebrated our first year of business at our Dulles Landing location! We are so blessed to have an amazing team who loves the Salon Khouri mission of creating Salon Khouri Enthusiasts through our exceptional customer experience, our commitment to quality, and our service to our community. We also would not be here without your continued loyal support over the past decade! Thank you for supporting this local, small business! Your support helps our local community through our local community outreach program and has provided many local jobs!
Stylist Vacations
Please note we have several SK stylists heading out on summer vacations in the coming weeks. Be sure to book your appointment, or, if you are not able to get in with your preferred stylist, feel free to ask your stylist which SK team member they recommend you visit while they are away. We are a team at Salon Khouri and work together to accommodate your schedule! Also, Trisha Canedy will be out for several weeks recovering from surgery.
