This year, we will have a gifting station where you can stop in and purchase custom-made gift baskets for your friends, family, teachers. People often ask what is the best thing they can do to maintain youthful looking skin. Similar to keeping your body fit through eating correctly, exercise and getting plenty of rest, your skin needs a "fitness plan" of sorts as well. A good fitness plan for your skin includes drinking enough water to keep your skin hydrated, eating nutritious food to give your skin the nutrients it needs to regenerate, using quality skincare products to repair and hydrate the skin, and a skincare maintenance plan that includes facials every six weeks.

Welcome Luke Gibbons to Salon Khouri
The next time you are at Salon Khouri, please give a warm welcome to Luke Gibbons, our newest addition to the Salon Khouri team! Luke is entering our internship program, however, he's already quite talented from a lifelong interest with the industry. Asking Luke what pulled him into this industry, he shared, "I got into the industry by cutting my hair and my friends' hair when I was a kid." It wasn't until Luke started living overseas as a missionary, however, that his hobby became more serious. "When you are the only guy with scissors and clippers and a lot of roommates, you get a lot of practice!" After a couple of years of learning the ropes, Luke received professional training in Brazil. "I was in Sao Paolo, Brazil for three months as an apprentice under Julio Crepaldi." A few of Luke's favorite aspects about the industry are the instant gratification from stylist to client, making people feel beautiful/handsome, and making new friendships every day. We are very excited to have Luke join the SK team!
New Services @ Salon Khouri
This month, we are launching two new services at Salon Khouri: a braid bar and a blow dry bar! We will have several "looks" from each style from which you can choose at preset pricing. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more details!
Friendly Reminder to Prebook & Holiday Hours
We encourage you to prebook your appointments now through the end of the year. Each time you prebook an appointment, you earn 2,500 Salon Khouri Rewards points that you may use toward products or services! And, with the holidays fast approaching, schedules can get tricky. Take the stress out of waiting until the last minute and book your appointments in advance. Does prebooking worry you? Don't let it -- we send a reminder 72 hours prior to your appointment so that you can change it should your schedule change!
This month, we will be open our regular every-other Sunday rotation on November 9th and 23rd. We will also be open Monday, November 23rd, and will be closed Thanksgiving and Black Friday so that our team can spend time with family and friends.
