I want to share with you why it is important to cleanse your skin nightly. Well, your skin actually repairs and rejuvenates itself at night. In order to maximize that restoration, you need to remove all make-up and impurities from your day for the skin to receive the benefits of this process. And, after a thorough cleansing, you should tone and hydrate the skin as well.

You are cordially invited to our Pink Hair for Hope Night this Thursday, October 10th from 6-8 PM. Please click here to read more about the event and to RSVP. Judy will be offering complimentary Vitamin C mini treatments, we will have a raffle for a free haircut, and of course, we will be putting in pink extensions for $10 a piece with all proceeds benefiting breast cancer research.
For the entire month of October, we will be participating in our 6th annual Pink Hair for Hope! In addition, we will be donating $1 from every haircut in October to the Tigerlilly Foundation.
We also wanted to share with you the story of our role model for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mrs. Allison Kelly!

Marie Fournier Promoted to Manager
Congratulations to Marie Fournier for her recent promotion to Salon Khouri Manager! Marie started with Salon Khouri as an evening front-desk support staff several years ago and worked part-time in the evenings and on weekends. She then left, but returned last year as our full-time Front Desk Coordinator. Marie has been a tremendous addition to Salon Khouri and we are very happy to welcome her to her new role!
Salon Khouri Coming to Loudoun County
As we mentioned above, Jonathan and Jennifer Elkhouri, founders and co-owners of Salon Khouri, are very happy to announce a second Salon Khouri location will be opening in 2014! Salon Khouri - Dulles Landing is expected to open in late Summer / early Fall 2014 and will be located in the the new Dulles Landing center on Loudoun County Parkway and Route 50. More details will be announced in future Salon Khouri Snippets!!
Get to Know Kayla Strickland
Kayla Strickland is our newest intern to join the Salon Khouri team. We asked Kayla to share a little about her so our Salon Khouri Enthusiasts can get to know Kayla a little better: "I am from Auburn, Alabama and have lived in the South for most of my life. I came to Salon Khouri to to learn, hands on, how to become a great stylist. I am passionate about changing people's looks and making them feel better. I am excited to see what the internship holds in store for me!"
