QNET Survey shows Leadership Development will help organizations meet current challenges
In a 2012 QNET survey, 60% of respondents indicated that Leadership Training and Development would help them meet the current challenges their organizations face. The same survey showed that 77% of respondents were interested in increasing their leadership knowledge and abilities.
These numbers do not surprise QNET Executive Director, Trish Wainikka. "There has been a steady growth in our workshops and seminars, specifically those designed to enhance the skills and abilities of leaders and managers."
With more people looking for leadership training, QNET has announced that it will offer the popular Certificate in Leadership Development (CLD) program three times annually, beginning in 2013. QNET's seven-day CLD has been held in Winnipeg since 2006, with over 135 participants being awarded a Certificate in Leadership Development to date.
"The CLD consistently receives high accolades from participants," indicates Wainikka. "This spring the course was full with 21 participants." Participants praise the course and facilitator with comments such as: "The best course I've been on, bar none." and "Best presenter I have had the opportunity to learn from to date."
