WE MOVED!!! COME SEE OUR NEW LOCATION
With the help of numerous volunteers, the United Way Community Resource Center (CRC) has relocated to 113 Palace Lane, Suite F. We now have more space to better serve our fellow citizens in need! In the coming months, the CRC will be partnering with new agencies to better serve our clients.
Thank you to everyone that attended the Grand Opening for faith and community partners on November 15 and Rocco's for providing lunch. The CRC is growing and in need of volunteers. We are asking you to spread the word! The CRC is always looking for opportunities to speak to faith and community service organizations. Turkey, stuffing, and potatoes, Oh my!
The United Way Community Resource Center partnered up with York River Baptist Church and Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church to assist local families and individuals for Thanksgiving.
Their combined efforts assured that a total of 68 people received a Thanksgiving dinner. We want to extend a Big Thank You to York River Baptist Church and Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church for putting together the baskets and making delivery and pickup arrangements.

SANTA is coming to town!
The United Way Community Resource Center is preparing for the Annual Adopt a Family Christmas Program. We have a list of children and families that are in need of assistance this holiday season.
If your family, company, or church is interested in adopting a child or family this Christmas, contact, Kimberly Rodriguez, at 757-229-2222.

Yankee Candle Village has partnered with United Way of Greater Williamsburg to help our local community. Yankee Candle hosted a successful Coat Drive in October that collected 142 coats for the United Way Community Resource Center.
Yankee Candle Village just wrapped up their November Food Drive that collected 430 lbs. of nonperishable food for the CRC to help the residents of Greater Williamsburg!
In addition, they are hosting a Coin Drive in December by donating all the change collected in their fountain. Please stop by Yankee Candle Village in Williamsburg to participate.
