Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and a minimum of three years custodial experience, preferably in a correctional facility, including one year experience at the supervisory level; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS OF THE WORK:
Good knowledge of janitorial and maintenance procedures
Good knowledge of the supplies, materials, methods and equipment used in custodial work
Some knowledge of the goals and objectives of a corrections facility for inmates
Ability to schedule, assign and inspect the work of inmates
Ability to maintain accurate records and schedules
Ability to give and receive oral and written directions
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with inmates and other employees.

Salary range: 8.50 to 9.00 per hour.

Job Duties:

Must be able to push, pull, lift and / or carry 75 lbs. Must have good customer service skills and interact well with customers. Prefer 6 months delivery experience but not mandatory. Requires a background check. Will assist in other store departments as required. Must be physically able to operate hand tools and warehouse equipment.
