Duties include but are not limited to the preparation of food, wash dishes, serve guests, bus tables, sweeping and mopping, able to work in a fast paced food environment, to follow instructions, able to lift 60 to 100 pounds.

What's in a smile?

     A smile may signify a warm salutation or possibly conveys agreement. Not smiling could communicate doubt, anguish or sadness. Smiling or

not smiling is a preference. However, it may hamper your efforts if you're searching for a job. 


 

     Joanne Barker's  article entitled

 "What Does Your Smile Say About You?" mentions smiling can have a positive effect on your health, career and social life. Barker further shares Pamela McClain, DDS and past president of the American Academy of  Periodontology perspective on the power of a smile. "When someone has a big smile, it shows they're willing to open up and expose a part of themselves," states McClain. 

 

     As you continue your job search, consider the following to give you the motivation to turn that frown upside down and show those pearly whites:

  • Confidence - A smile shows optimism, energy and enthusiasm. 
  • Positive first impression - When interviewing for a job, an employer's initial  impression is usually the right impression. Most employers would consider hiring someone that was a good fit for the company and meets most of the qualifications for a job versus hiring someone that meets all of the qualifications and doesn't work well with others. 
  • Aura- Smiling is contagious and can change the environment in a room. Smiling is synonymous with happiness and joy. It's a universal language.

Team Manager - Alorica

 

The Team Manager is an exempt position reporting to the Operations Manager. They will be responsible for overseeing the call center agents and their quality of service provided to the customers. This manager will provide coaching sessions with the team and keep performance reports that will be submitted to upper management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor and develop the customer service skills for a team of call center agents
  • Screen, interview and hire candidates for the call center agent positions
  • Tracking and reporting on team's metrics and progress
  • Monitoring agents calls and assuring quality
  • Working with the team to accomplish department goals
  • Creating and implementing programs to keep agents motivated
  • Creating an environment which encourages and supports agent retention

Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma required and a College Degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of call center supervisory experience
  • Ability to lead employees and inspire others into action.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrate ability to make responsible business decisions.
  • Ability to manage time, to balance multiple priorities, coach and develop teams, and accomplish goals.
  • Intermediate understanding of PC hardware and software, operating systems, and Microsoft Office.
