The Alabama Career Center of Mobile is hosting a Veteran's Job-A-Palooza on June 25 at the Armed Forces Reserve Center 1620 South Broad Street.   This event is free and open to the public. Current and former military members are encouraged to attend from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The job fair will be open to the general public from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00p.m.

 

Over 60 organizations and employers will be in attendance. Dale Cookson, Veterans employment representative and job fair coordinator encourages job seekers to prepare for the jobs fair. "In order to make a connection you've got to do your homework, Cookson said. "Research the companies in attendance, see what openings they have, tailor your resume to meet their needs and apply to openings prior to coming to the event." Also, job seekers are encouraged to dress appropriately and be prepared to interview.
