Job Title: Disaster Services Intern Area of Interest: Disaster Response/Relief

In collaboration with the ExxonMobil Community Summer Jobs Program, we are currently seeking a Disaster Services Intern for the summer. This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week for 8 weeks in Mobile, AL.

Job Summary:
The Disaster Services Intern is expected to assess and implement emergency resources for families in need, participate in the Project SHARE utility assistance program, and actively participate in disaster events and training. They will become familiar with how nonprofit organizations attain and protect funds, and will actively recruit and foster partnerships within the community in order to enhance the capacity of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Candidates must be currently enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 hours) as an undergraduate student and in good standing at an accredited college/university. Student must have completed their freshman year of college, and is enrolled to return to school in the fall of 2014 as a full-time student (Transcripts will be required at time of hire).
 Student cannot be related to any employee or permanent contractor of ExxonMobil or related to any employee or board member of the AL Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross.


 Skills and Abilities: Demonstrates attention to detail; Prioritizes and plans work activities; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
