Accounts Receivable-Cash Application Specialist-Controls and maintains daily A/R cash posting for customer remittances which includes verifying daily Lockbox deposits, wires, electronic fund transfers and credit card payments * Applies payments to the respective customer accounts for all Quincy Compressor locations. * Posts internal netting payments and AP intercompany payments. * Maintains excel cash control spreadsheets daily and reconciliation * Processes approved accounts receivable adjustments and sales tax issues in BPCS. * Maintains documentation requirements for tax exemption certificates and customer credit files for all Quincy Compressor locations to include updating customer tax files thru Vertex and maintain electronic tax exemption files for audit purposes. * Assist credit control team with customer accounts receivable reconciliations. * Assists Credit Manager in report preparation and special projects as assigned.
