Join us 6-10 tonight,Nov. 7, for First Friday Art Walk! The November Walk is HUGE with 29 participating venues, special events, live art demonstrations, contests, live music and more.
Art Walk welcomes a new member in the Inspired Boutique, 230 S. Market, (across the street from Springfield Brewing Co. and sponsor LaborMax).
Nov. 7-only special events include Wingapalooza Friday Night Ink at Springfield Expo Center, and nonprofit For Burkina's exhibition and fundraising event Friday Art Night in the Old Yellow Bonnet Building north of Olive Street.
There is so much going on, you'll be hard-pressed to see everything you want in a single evening:
Discovery Center of Springfield offers a live Encaustic Painting Demonstration by Kat Allie.
Drury Pool Art Center Gallery invites you to explore Unconventional Wisdom, curated by Jacqueline Warren.
ideaXfactory presents the Mosaic Marathon with Christine Schilling and a selection of international artists.
MSU Center of International Programs presents its sensational Tour of the Globe, while MSU Brick City and MSU Student Exhibition Center explore the poster art of Sarajevo 100.
RSVPaint brings a uniquely American flavor to Chinese brush paintings with the Art of Connie Snelson-Luebbert.

Inspired Boutique, 230 S. Market, makes its Art Walk debut with a Grand Opening Celebration during the Nov. 7 First Friday Art Walk. Enjoy Live Music 6-8, giveaways including a Coach purse and silver jewelry, plus refreshments, discounts and more. Wingapalooza Friday Night Ink at The Springfield Expo Center, 635 E. St. Louis, is a one-night-only event held 5:30-10 p.m. during the Nov. 7 Art Walk. Friday Night Ink, held on Winga Eve (the night before Wingapalooza) is a tattoo contest and exhibition presented by Springfield area tattoo parlors and Springfield Sertoma Club. This first-time event will award more than $3,000 in cash and prizes.
