Join us 6-10 tonight, Oct. 3, for First Friday Art Walk! First Friday in October features 27 participating venues and a variety of special events. So much to do, so much to see! Here are a few highlights:
Arts & Letters celebrates its first anniversary with Unrequited Love: Fifty Shades of Eric Ray, tastings, music and more, while First Friday Art Walk itself celebrates 13 years of Art Walk with the Art Walk Anniversary Art Contest Exhibition at OTC Fine Art Gallery. Be sure to vote on our People's Choice Award!
The Creamery Arts Center welcomes the 7th Annual Pure Enjoyment Exhibition and Reception, sponsored by Springfield Regional Arts Council, Arts Rolla and Brewer Science.
Springfield Hot Glass Studio presents its annual Pumpkin Party with hourly giveaways of glass pumpkins and pumpkin cookies from AmyCakes.
Art Walk welcomes a new member in October with The U @ Springfield on Park Central East, which presents a Grand Opening Art Walk Reception with six local artists.
Also during the Oct. 3 Art Walk, First Friday is proud to partner with Harmony House to observe National Domestic Violence Awareness Month with the 2014 Night of Unity. Supporters will give custom buttons to Art Walk patrons, and together we will light the streets in celebration of the right to live a life free of abuse!

Visit the Springfield Art Museum -- open late to welcome Art Walk patrons -- leave your car there and catch the SAM shuttle to downtown to get your Walk on. It's an awesome art double feature! Shuttle stops at The Creamery Arts Center, Fresh Gallery and ideaXfactory downtown.
