Tonight's June 6 First Friday Art Walk is marked by a number of firsts: Our first-ever partnership with Springfield Art Museum and Watercolor USA (catch the Watercolor USA shuttle at South & McDaniel); OTC Fine Art Gallery at The Gillioz's first-ever June Exhibition, featuring the amazing Gillian Moore; and first-time member and new downtown business BookMarx bookshop making its debut with Artist Elaine Johnson and a Grand Opening Celebration!

JUNE SHOWS
BookMarx joins the Art Walk in June at 325 E. Walnut St., Ste. 101, formerly the home of Good Girl Art Gallery. BookMarx debuts with Featured Artist Elaine Johnson and a Grand Opening Celebration: the first 100 customers receive a one-of-a-kind button designed by Jacob Herren, plus all are invited to enjoy refreshments, including a custom cake from Amycakes.

Calaboose Springfield Police Museum at The Calaboose is open to the public during First Friday Art Walk! The Calaboose, Springfield's original jail, was built in 1891 and used until the 1940s. The historic display covers a wide variety of fascinating crimes, lawmen and relics of law enforcement past.  The Calaboose is a stop well worth your time - drop in on First Friday!
