IISTL Trivia Night - Big Success
Celebrating at our new campus
|
First place winners in a hard fought IISTL Trivia competition.

Our 2015 Around the World Trivia Night took place on Friday, March 6 in the gymnasium of our new facility. We had 288 players for the annual event which raised more than $9,000 for our Tao Refugee Resettlement Fund. Dozens of volunteers, mostly from the Institute's Junior Board, helped make the fundraiser a success. It was our largest event to-date, raising $2,500 more than last year's and drawing 40 more guests. Next year's trivia night will be held on April 1, 2016 - save the date!

For the first time in years there was not a predominant refugee population. Iraqis formed the largest group at 19%. Somalis dropped to 16%. The largest increase was among Cubans and Congolese.
P. Ariel Burgess, VP and Director of Client Services, is featured speaker at the Institute's March 24 Bagels & Coffee Speaker Series event.
